Mahof, born in the east part of the Netherlands, in the city of Deventer, on October 28 1970 is very much a
self-taught artist.

His abstract paintings are strongly symbolic. Gold and silver are being mixed with oilpaint and put on canvas. Mahof combines his special and intense coloring with his own 'writings' and symbolism.

Out of intuition and unconcious acting he develops and creats his mystical artwork with a complete and unique characterer.
